Despite the rumors that they had married, Schreiber is dating Australian actress Naomi Watts. Alexander Pete, their son, was born on July 25, 2007. His nick name is Sasha, a Russian variation of the name Alexander. Naomi Watts is expecting their second child.

While in Soho together, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber buy a new Vespa scooter. The happy couple walked to the Vespa store in New York City's SoHo neighborhood where Liev purchased a new white Vespa. The couple had their dogs in tow as they walked to the store.
